Yes, I was now officially desperate to stay away from my dorm. I couldn't quite believe it myself that I was in the library, even if it was a thursday afternoon. I had never been here before, and honestly my studies wasn't the most important thing to me. In actual fact I hadn't been trying in all the time I had been at school, I had just been "coasting" on C's and D's. I could probably do better but even now in the library I just couldn't be bothered. I was trying to make sense of the math homework, but I just didn't get it. My mind kept wondering to the small wooden "shack" my family called a home. I wish I could help them more, but I was doing everything I could. Those spoilt rich kids around here were so obnoxious. Instead of doing something worthwhile with the money they were throwing it away on sex, drugs, gambling and alcohol. Why could they do something decent with it for once? They maybe donate it to a charity or something. They weren't even nice people.

A sigh left my lips as I ran my fingers through my hair, putting my flame red locks up into a rough high ponytail. A few loose strands brushed against my soft cheeks as I picked up my pen. I had two huge math text books laid out infront of me open, as well as a pad of A4 lined paper. Not to mention the ever increasing pile of scrunched up paper. I was getting more and more fustrated by the minute. I think the librarians could tell because even though I had my music on, 'Take Control' by Amerie, they weren't telling me to turn it off.

Dressed in a very short cut off denim skirt with a strapless emerald green silk top, complete with a brown leather belt [which had a gold belt buckle on it] as well as a pair of green heels. A simple gold chain hung around my neck. It wasn't real gold but it really looked like it was. A watch hung on my right wrist, completeing my outfit. I looked half decent, at least in my opinion.

A sigh left my lips as the pen hovered over the paper, my sharp blue eyes lost in space as I sat in the wooden chair. I was quite near the back where the information books were. Most people would have thought it would be dark back here but it wasn't. The glass windows brought in a lot of light which was actually refreshing.
